Wayne Donaldson 'splains about Chicken Boy A quick trip to Sacramento for a fun award ceremony at the Leland Stanford Mansion Friday afternoon. Eleven awards were given (we got a certificate signed by Arnold), presented by Wayne Donaldson (State Historic Preservation Officer) and Ruth Coleman, Director of California State Parks. After we got a special tour of the mansion. While we were gone, we missed a call from Channel 4 News and Channel 7 News who both ended up running stories about CB on the evening local news. Think Clean, Go Clean ECO Art Contest & Festival took place August 27 in Carson. Presented by JPy Magazine and sponsored by South Coast Air Quality Management District. Chicken in the Clouds won first place. A collaboration by Beth Elliott, Danielle Elliott, and Amy Inouye. The piece was also displayed recently at “Art in the Streets” closing weekend.Link to Danielle's video of the installation. “Much of my work conceptually deals with the environment and with air and water in particular.
